Philippe Bouissou, Ph.D. Joins Milestone Group as Managing Partner

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - June 26, 2007) - Milestone Group, Inc., a management consulting firm focused on revenue acceleration, announces today that Philippe Bouissou, Ph.D. has joined the firm as Managing Partner, focusing on Emerging Growth Companies. Prior to joining Milestone Group, Bouissou served as co-founder and Managing Director at Astra Venture Partners. Bouissou's nearly twenty years of experience spans operating and venture capital positions in marketing, sales and executive management for Internet and software companies.

In addition to Astra Venture Partners, Bouissou was General Partner with early-stage venture capital firms Ventech ($200 million under management) and Allegis Capital ($500 million under management). Philippe successfully invested and sat on the board of a dozen software companies.

Previously, Bouissou was Director of Worldwide Internet Commerce at Apple, where he founded the online Apple Store and ran it from zero to $350 million. Prior to Apple, Philippe was Senior Vice President at Matra Hachette Multimedia, where he led US business development for electronic publishing for the $12 billion, high-tech and diversified media company. In 1991, Philippe founded and was the CEO of G2i, Inc., a Unix software company that was later acquired by Matra.

Philippe graduated from the prestigious Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, France. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in nonlinear physics (chaos theory).
